The Chapel will be open 30 minutes before Mass begins. Please do not arrive earlier than 30 minutes.
The Mass Coordinator will greet you and/or your family and sanitize your hands. He/she will add the number of people to the count.
An usher will seat you. Please note that the usher will seat families, couples, individuals considering social distancing. Do not move to another area. College students will only be allowed to sit with roommates or housemates.
When 80 people have checked in, we will send the overflow to the Center Hall. Chairs will be set up with social distancing and the television in the hall will live stream the Mass. A maximum of 25 people can be seated in the overflow. An usher will be assigned to the Hall and a Eucharistic Minister will bring Communion to the Hall.
We ask that volunteers help us sanitize the Chapel and Hall after Mass with the cleaning supplies provided.
· Masses will conducted as you have seen them on the Live Stream with reduced lay ministers.
· Please keep your face mask on for the duration of Mass.· There is to be no physical contact at the Sign of Peace or hand holding during the Lord’s prayer.
· Offertory baskets will be placed at the entrance of the Chapel. You will be able to place your offertory in the basket as you enter and exit the Chapel. You may also consider giving online through our Online Giving system found on our website.
· Archbishop Hartmayer has advised that communicants are strongly urged to receive Holy Communion in the hand. The precious blood will not be offered to the congregation.
· Use of personal hand sanitizer before and after communion is strongly encouraged.
· Ushers will provide directions for going up to receive communion.
· Masks should be worn in the communion line. After the priest or Eucharistic minister offers you communion step aside and lift your mask, consume the Eucharist, and then re-mask.
· After the final blessing, members must remain in their pew.
· Pews will be dismissed in an orderly fashion starting in the rear of the church and moving forward.
· You must exit your pew when prompted. Private prayer is not available after Masses to allow the church to be cleaned for the next Mass.
· Clergy will not shake hands.
· Please do not congregate outside but head directly to your vehicle to allow the next Mass to start on time.
· We will continue to implement cleanliness and sanitization practices, including cleaning pews in between every Mass.
· Disinfecting bathrooms, door handles, and other frequently touched surfaces will occur throughout the day.
· Parish staff and volunteers will be required to wear face masks, wash hands, and will follow all recommended health and safety procedures.
